• Hours of Operation: 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Messages left will be returned promply between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M.

• Vacation Cats: A minimum of 1 visit/day is required for cats. The first visit is scheduled within 24 hours of your departure and last visit, within 24 hours of your return. To insure their safety, ALL kitties -- regardless of their usual habit -- must be kept EXCLUSIVELY indoors during your absence, with the exception of ferals or semi-ferals in your care. I will put out food and water for ferals, but cannot guarantee their safety or vet care for them in the case of injury.

• Non-Canine Species: Considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Mid-day Dogs: Choose either a quick turn out or brief walk (10-15 minutes) or a longer walk or confined, supervised playtime for exercise and elimination (30 minutes). Your dog must be socialized, accustomed to controlled leash walking.

• Initial Meet & Greet: 45-60 minutes and included free of charge (there will be a charge for subsequent M&G's for new pets). Your initial M&G should be scheduled within one week of my first sit with your pet. I’ll meet your pets (and let your pets meet me!), go over pet/household care protocols, sign contracts, take charge of your keys (and check to make sure your key works correctly), and, for new clients, collect payment in full. For returning clients, payment is due in full at first visit.

• To reserve dates more than 3 months in advance, a $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required. Service dates will not be held in that event until the deposit is received. This $50.00 deposit will be applied to your invoice at the Meet & Greet.

• Please call me to confirm that you have arrived home following your time away so I know that your pets are again safely in your care.

• Reservations are not confirmed without personal contact with and response (via phone or email) from Brenda Higgins.

• There will be an additonal fee of $10/visit charged for these holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, October 5, and February 22 (family birthdays).

• For the protection of your home and your pet, I will not leave your key for you at your home following my last visit prior to your return. There is no charge if I retain your key for future use (coded and protected for your security) or if you prefer to pick up your key from me. There will be a minimal charge ($5.00) if you prefer for me to bring the key to you following your return.

• A $30.00 fee will be charged for a returned check.

• The pet owner is responsible for all vet fees incurred and for the cost of food, meds, or supplies and trips to buy these items if they run out before your return. All receipts will be provided to you for verification.

• Please understand that insurance liability will not allow me to “job share” with your friends or neighbors.
